Inflammatory Cloacogenic Polyps: a Pediatric Case Series

Inflammatory cloacogenic polyps (ICP’s) are a rare form of benign that rarely occur in children. We present case series three pediatric patients who were diagnosed with ICPi. Three presented varying symptoms including constipation, intermittent hematochezia, weight loss, and/or anemia. Medical evaluation was notable for anemia and elevated inflammatory markers one patient, otherwise unremarkable. All found to have on endoscopic evaluation, which required resection. Pathology consistent polyps.
